Becoming a Health Kinesiology Practitioner

Health Kinesiology is a unique, original, and comprehensive system of energy work, with extensive classes available throughout the UK, taught by experienced and qualified teachers.

HK Studies Levels 1-5 are designed to provide a solid base of energy awareness and kinesiology knowledge, theory and practical techniques.

Whether you are a complete kinesiology novice or already a skilled practitioner of another school of kinesiology, you will learn how to be a highly professional and effective mind / body / spirit Energy consultant.

Once the HK levels are completed, we encourage students to attend classes in anatomy, physiology, nutrition, counselling skills, business management and the Kinesiology Federation Foundation course as these are prerequisites for becoming a professional member of the Kinesiology Federation.

In the UK HK Studies Levels 1-5 are assessed through the OCN (Open College Network) and to the Kinesiology Federation standards. Our training also meets the National Kinesiology Occupational Standards. Each level is taught over 4 days in 30 hours. After each level there are 40 hours of assessed homework to help students assimilate the material and practice the corrections and skills.

All the courses are taught from the manuals for each level provided by Dr. Jimmy Scott, the founder of HK.

To qualify as a health kinesiology practitioner, all trainees complete the five levels shown below.

After submitting 20 issues as taught in HK3 and being authorised as a student HK practitioner you may accept donations providing you have student insurance. Most students manage to submit the 20 issues somewhere between HK4 and HK5.

When you complete level 5 and pass your assessment, you can practice as a qualified health kinesiology practitioner.

There are further levels which you can complete, if you wish to build and develop your skills. There are also other optional courses each year, where you can refresh and broaden your experience in other areas of this holistic therapy, like geopathic stress, for example.

STAGE 1: INTRODUCTION TO THE H K SYSTEM

Prerequisite: none. Everyone must begin with this class.

This workshop presents the basic principles and procedures used in every HK session, including grounding in the basics of Chinese meridian theory. It is designed both for experienced Kinesiologists and for newcomers to Kinesiology. Some of the most enthusiastic students of this class have been people who have already had several years of experience using various other styles of Kinesiology!

This class includes all of the basic muscle-testing and energy skills needed to use HK with yourself and others. It offers a balanced combination of lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice. After HK1 you will be able to begin working on yourself and others at home.

Stage 1 Energy Techniques:

Muscle-testing others and an introduction to self-testing
HK Meridian Energy Balancing and the Body Sequence session structure
The basic HK approach to Psychological Corrections
BBEI Corrections for eliminating certain primitive fears
Meridian Tracing
An introduction to muscle-testing for the effects of environmental electromagnetic pollution on the body
Simple tools to reduce those effects
Adjunctive Activities: work, play, rest, & sleep
HK Tapping Techniques for eliminating allergies, enhancing tolerance to foods and environmental substances
An extensive manual with our own high quality illustrations is included.

STAGE 2: THE SCIENCE OF HK

Prerequisite: HK Stage 1.

This class offers the detailed HK approach to the theory of life energy and how it functions in the human body.

Stage 2 Energy Techniques:

The comprehensive SET Correction for allergy, tolerance, and detoxification
Energy Corrections for electromagnetic &energy spin imbalances
Using magnets to speed healing
Removal of Tissue Energy Blocks
Mechanism Control Corrections for unblocking the energies of cell membrane receptor sites and enhancing the movement of nutrients through cell membranes
Additional methods for self-testing.
The Client Specified Issue session structure is introduced.
The very extensive class manual includes illustrations, Resources List, and copies of a number of Dr. Scott's magazine articles. (Dr. Scott is the originator of HK.)

STAGE 3: ISSUE ANALYSIS

Prerequisite: HK Stage 2.

The foundation for careful, accurate verbal testing skills is laid in HK1 & 2. Level 3 HK students use and enhance those skills as they use verbal testing to pin-point client issues and develop profound Psychological Corrections.

Stage 3 Energy Techniques:

Energy Corrections for pain, external & internal scars, & phantom sensations
Psychophysiological Corrections
Energy Flow Balancing Corrections for Thinking Modes
New Psychological Corrections: the Being / Not Being & Gerund structures.
The Issue & Facet Analysis skills are studied in depth.

STAGE 4: THE POINTS/ OPERATONS MATRIX

Prerequisite: HK Stage 3.

The Points / Operations Matrix is the essence of HK. With time, patience, and creativity, anyone can rediscover all the HK Energy Corrections for themselves using this elegant, efficient tool. HK4 also offers a detailed comparison & contrast of the HK Energy Corrections, Energy Toning, & Adjunctive Factors.

All of our HK courses are taught to the Kinesiology National Occupational Standards awarded in April 2003.

Course places can be reserved by sending £60.00 deposit to the class trainer. *The lower figure applies if a deposit of £60.00 is paid at least 4 weeks before the course. The deposit is not refundable, but is transferable up to 3 weeks before the workshop to another HK workshop with the same trainer or one with another trainer.

Full payment must be made on the first day of the course.
